voco® Venice Mestre – The Quid was completely refreshed in 2022, offering you the perfect place for an unforgettable evening. Whether it’s a romantic evening as a couple, an entertaining dinner with friends or a formal work meeting, we know how to make your visit memorable.

You can savour an exceptional culinary experience, expertly guided by our chef, Giacinto Scano. This gourmet journey through Mediterranean dishes and flavours has been enhanced with our highly personal touch.
Ludico Venice restaurant is open to everyone. Come and enjoy a typical summer’s dinner – or lunch – at one of our tables with a view over our large terrace. You can choose from a vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or an à la carte menu, and there’s a menu just for children too. We offer personalised menus too if you have intolerances, allergies or a specific diet, so we can ensure you have everything you need. With green issues at the fore, we have also created a seasonal menu, the perfect choice for taking care of the environment, supporting short supply chains and ensuring fresh, seasonal produce.

Chef: Giacinto Scano

Having graduated from the Hotel and Restaurant Institute, IPSSAR E Mattei in Vieste, in 2005, he began his career in the restaurant sector at the age of 14 in a four-star establishment in Vieste, Italy. He refined his culinary skills abroad when he worked in restaurants in London, Saint Tropez and Graz, Hungary. Returning to Italy in 2007, he worked at the highly prestigious Casinò di Venezia and other 4- and 5-star hotels, including Hotel Bauer Venice. He became part of the Ludico Venice family in 2020 and he knows how to create gourmet dishes appreciated by the most demanding palates as well as lovers of simplicity.
The crown jewel of our restaurant, Scano loves to experiment in blending Veneto flavours with more modern gourmet techniques. What’s his secret? He uses high quality, rigorously seasonal ingredients.
