Meet Manuel

Ludico - Drinks, Food & Play's Cocktail Master

Meet Manuel, our bartender, whose deep passion for the world of cocktails and spirits has built a career that has taken him around the world, honing his art in some of the most iconic and fascinating places in mixology.

After graduating from the Istituto Alberghiero and working in the Venetian restaurant industry, Manuel moved to Milan to train at the European Bartender School, becoming in effect an internationally trained bartender. His curiosity for spirits led him to explore Cuba, Jamaica and Mexico, specializing in Tequila, Mezcal and Rum.

Back in Italy, he managed a Tiki Bar, immersing himself in the study of Caribbean spirits. He then spent two years in Barcelona, perfecting his craft at a club on Barceloneta beach.

Manuel has designed a menu for us that celebrates timeless Italian recipes, going where possible and revisiting them in a modern key, but without forgetting the most beloved international cocktails of all time and of course a special selection of Tiki cocktails, his workhorse.
